But there is still upside though it may not seem that way right now.
I talk here of the Australian market which is almost line ball where it started the year - so far. In fact many punters might be under the water.
Lets look firstly at the daily XAO:

As you can see the market has gone no-where - the overall market - but of course some sectors and stocks have still done well.
So were to for the balance of the year? Well things could pick up - take a look at the weekly and monthly:

Both present a similar picture and projection - albeit with a longer time period for the monthly.
So good news ahead - barring the X factor.
What sectors will take the market to these new highs? - well it so happens the same two that have been the long term drivers for the Oz market - the Finance and Materials sectors:
