Many traders will be happy with the short profits taken off the table in last week’s sell-off. Most sectors were sold down, and those who took action as the situation unfolded, likely saw a healthy boost to their trading account.
There are some strange and downright morbid names for patterns in the technical trading world, from the ‘Hanging Man’ and ‘Gravestone Doji’ to ‘Abandoned Babies’ and ‘Dead Cat Bounces’.
When markets bounce like they have in the last couple of days, it is important to look at the volumes.
