The dramatic falls in the past few weeks in global stock markets has caused option implied volatility (IV) to increase.
After all the excitement in the markets over the last few weeks, with the ASX200 losing a hefty 6% and the Australian All Ordinaries doing much the same, I am delighted to see the markets now showing some resistance and holding steady.
LPTs are Listed Property Trusts and are a way of getting exposure to property outside of your own residence. Because an LPT is a share you can buy and sell at will, and thus as a property investment, it offers great liquidity.
