A well-proven and widely used technique is the break-out trade after a period of consolidation. Consolidation generally indicates uncertainty in the market which may often be the cause of pending announcements or news.
You want to do well in trading, in fact you want to do very well. This is true whether you are just beginning to trade or have many years behind you.
It makes me cry when I see the way people blow money in the markets. Some lose it with assistance from others and I cringe at the advice I sometimes see people being given – even by registered advisors with the best of intentions.

All right, enough about the Sugar market! Well maybe not. A number of weeks back in the Trading Tutors Newsletter I wrote about a potential long trade on the weekly chart for the Sugar Contract.
Price based analysis and trading with Swing charts focuses on the first dimension of Gann analysis. In my mind there is no better way to gauge the strength and movement of the trend than a thorough understanding of swing charts.
